About the society
The Cambridge University Mexican Society consists of students and people living in Cambridge who share a common interest in Mexican history, society and culture. We aim to encourage intercultural exchanges by creating spaces of interaction for both Mexicans and non-Mexicans. Our Society welcomes members of all nationalities. We regularly organise talks, academic and social events, and exchanges with other societies.
This year, from 26th to 28th June, the Cambridge University Mexican Society is co-hosting with the Society of Mexican Students in the United Kingdom (http://www.mexsoc.org.uk) the XVII Symposium of Mexican Studies and Students in the UK (www.symposiummx.com), which will bring together more than 200 students, academics and experts interested in issues related to Mexico.
